How the Committee Works
The executive committee is elected by BWWA’s general body — delegates from every affiliated state unit — for a four-year term, renewable once. It meets quarterly to review federation operations, and convenes additional sessions ahead of major championships or governance decisions.
Each office-bearer holds a distinct portfolio, but decisions on policy, finance, and discipline require a majority vote of the full committee — no single office can act unilaterally on matters affecting the federation as a whole.

Terms & Accountability
- Four-year terms — each office-bearer serves a four-year term, renewable once by re-election at the general body meeting.
- Elected, not appointed — committee members are elected by delegates from every affiliated state unit, not selected internally.
- Financial oversight — the Treasurer’s accounts are independently audited annually and presented to the general body.
- Disciplinary checks — committee conduct, like athlete conduct, falls under the federation’s Disciplinary Commission.
